Introduction of Quiterian’s advanced and dynamic data analytics solutions to the Basque GovernmentJune 2, 2011 Teccon, member of the Quiterian Business Partner Network, organizes the seminar “Business Intelligence 2.0: services for the dynamic analysis of data”, celebrated last May 25, in Lakua (Vitoria). Los Angeles, June 2, 2011 – The seminar “Business Intelligence 2.0: services for the dynamic data analysis”, led by representatives of Teccon and Quiterian, brings the explotation and advanced analytics solutions provided by the self-service and agile BI platform Quiterian DDWeb closer to more than 50 attendees from different departments in the Basque Government and from various Public Societies. Moving from the Electronic Aministration – based on operations – to the Intelligent Administration – based on knowledge – is en enormous challenge for the Public Administration. However, in order to create this knowledge, it is absolutely necessary to transform the huge amounts of multiorigin data that the Administration has been generating during past years, into valuable information that delivers a global business view and that provides the service with excellence. With this aim, the Business Intelligence (BI) tools and platforms, such as Quiterian DDWeb, turn out to be necessary to complement the traditional systems used for exploiting the information, since they are based on advanced and predictive techniques that, in addition to offer valuable information, allow their users to discover how, why, and to anticipate to the future. In fact, the key in this process, which consists of exploiting the information, is the user’s self-sufficiency, who becomes empowered and independent from the IT department. Both the Sales Director and the BI Consultant at Teccon, David Fernández and Ana Belén Sánchez, got involved in the event, as well as the Sales Director at Quiterian, Joaquim Bosch, who made a demonstration of Quiterian DDWeb. In real time, Bosch showed how business users can work with huge volumes of multiorigin data, without prior modellings nor aggregation, and have at their disposal, moreove, the data in their maximum granularity. During this demo, Bosch insisted on the importance of DDWeb iWorkflow, a collaborative environment within which to share knowledge, to set up workflows and to automate processes, speeding up the decision making. The seminar, mainly aimed at computer responsibles and technicians, project managers, responsibles for statistical organs and statisticians, ended with the presentation of several case studies of Quiterian DDWeb’s advanced analytics in the Public Administration sector. |
